CBRE Extends Partnership with World Champion Chicago Cubs

CBRE has extended its partnership with the World Champion Chicago Cubs for the 2017 season and will once again host the annual CBRE Charity Bash at Wrigley Field this July, with numerous Cubs players and celebrities attending.

CBRE will also continue promoting its brand with digital signage inside the Friendly Confines at all 81 regular season home games plus the postseason, and will again host a number of additional unique, behind-the-scenes events and experiences for CBRE employees, clients and partners at the historic ballpark.

“Our partnership with the Cubs was an absolute home run last year,” said Jim Carris, senior managing director of CBRE in Chicago. “Coming together with the Cubs during their incredible championship season provided a tremendous lift to our brand and created countless memories that our people, our clients and our partners will carry with them for a lifetime. We’re looking forward to another exciting season.”

The CBRE Charity Bash, now in its 10th year, will return to Wrigley Field the evening of July 31st. Proceeds will once again benefit Cubs Charities and its affiliates as well as numerous CBRE Cares charities. Like last year, several Cubs players, coaches and executives are expected to attend. Last year’s event drew more than 1,300 guests and generated more than $370,000 in net proceeds.

“Joining together with the Cubs, our families, our clients and our industry partners to raise money for these deserving causes was one of the highlights of 2016 for us at CBRE,” said Ed Fanselow, Director of Marketing and Communications for CBRE’s Midwest Division. “We’re looking forward to an even bigger and better event this summer.”

CBRE-which was recently named one of Chicago’s “Top Workplaces” by the Chicago Tribune, and which was crowned the top commercial real estate brokerage firm in the city by Crain’s Chicago Business for the tenth consecutive year-is the only company in its industry to partner with the Cubs.
